Mechanical Demolition

Whenever a project involves demolition and replacement of mechanical equipment, hazardous materials and encountered. Materials can include:

		Asbestos Containing Materials on Boilers and Pipes
		Lead Based Paint on Generators
		Storage Tank Sludges & Liquids

If the demolition company is not licensed or prepared to handle these materials, time and money are wasted. Action maintains a work force fully licensed and certified for Asbestos & Lead Abatement, Hazardous Materials Handling, and Confined Space Entry. We also maintain a New York State Waste Transporter Permit which allows us to dispose of all waste stream generated during the project.

Specialized Services

Each project presents significant challenges. A manufacturing plant, for instance, may require work to be done during the night or on the weekend so as not to upset production. A hospital may require creative means to protect patients from noise, interruptions, or airborne contaminants associated with a project.

Action provides a detailed work plan prior to any project outlining specialized work conditions, as well as the handling of any anticipated hazardous waste steams.
