DRUM WASTE

Many businesses generate waste during their normal day to day operations. If your business involves the use of solvents or chemicals you are obligated by Federal, State and County regulations governing proper waste disposal. Some common businesses affected by these regulations are:

Auto Body Shops
Colleges/Universities
Photo Finishers
Dry Cleaners

Printers
Vehicle Repairs
Furniture Refinishers
Pesticide Users

Is Your Business Compliant?

Action will conduct a complimentary Site Assessment to evaluate the compliancy of your facility, from quantity of wastes generated, to efficiency of storage procedure. We will categorize, drum, and remove old wastes that may have been accumulating over time.

If your facility generates less than 200 lbs. of hazardous waste you qualify as a Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator, and can avoid a lot of problems with the proper program in place. Contact us for more information.

FLORESCENT BULBS

Florescent bulbs are now classified as universal waste, and are not included in your overall waste generating limits. However, bulbs and ballast's are still regulated and require special handling for proper disposal.

Out of Sight -- Out of Mind

Not in this case. It is important to remember that just because you have shipped the hazardous waste off your site and it is no longer in your possession, your liability has not ended. You are potentially liable for any mismanagement of your hazardous waste. You, as a generator, are responsible for maintaining the required disposal manifest records as part of your Waste Management Plan.
By using the services of a licensed Waste Transporter, you can greatly reduce, if not eliminate the possibility of violations or fines. Action can provide a comprehensive Waste Management Plan tailored to your facility.
